“Ezer Kenegdo is a faith-driven short film about identity—awakening women to who God created them to be: strong, seen, and called to stand.”

Director

A woman with short, curly dark hair, wearing bold red lipstick, pearl earrings, and a light-colored turtleneck sweater, taking a selfie against a dark background.

Norma A. Medina is a filmmaker, storyteller, and woman of faith whose work is rooted in obedience to God and the power of divine revelation. Ezer Kenegdo was born from a spiritual awakening ignited when Becky Henderson explained the biblical meaning of ezer. As soon as the word was spoken, Norma’s spirit immediately responded—she recognized it as something God had already placed within women, including herself. She knew she had to do something with it.

The night before Resurrection Sunday—Saturday at 10:00 p.m. in 2025—the Lord gave Norma a clear and overwhelming download. The entire story of Ezer Kenegdo unfolded word by word. She wrote through the night until 9:00 a.m., recording everything as it was given to her. God revealed the story, the message, the actors, the locations, and even the exact budget needed. Miracle after miracle followed as every detail came together exactly as He had shown her.

Marisha and Becky were handpicked by the Lord for a crucial role—not only within the story, but in the impartation itself. While the film portrays the relatable struggle of a woman many will identify with, its conclusion carries something deeper. Through Marisha and Becky—two women walking fully in their identity in Christ—God releases an impartation for women to rise, remember who they are, and walk boldly in their identity as Ezers.

Every cast member of Ezer Kenegdo was prayerfully chosen. Each actor was handpicked by God—brought to mind through clear moments of confirmation and divine alignment. None of this was by chance; every person was a God-send, chosen to bring this story to life with purpose.

CAST:

A woman with curly dark hair, wearing a brown leather jacket, standing outdoors next to a brick wall, looking at the camera.

Eve is a devoted wife and mother who quietly carries the weight of everyday life. Strong yet exhausted, she feels unseen at work and at home, slowly forgetting her worth. Her story reflects countless women living in survival mode, unaware that God never called them to live diminished. As Eve begins to awaken, she is drawn back to her true identity—Ezer Kenegdo—created to stand strong, seen, and purposeful.

as Eve

Smiling woman with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a light-colored top, in an indoor setting.

Becky is a woman of deep spiritual authority and heavenly alignment—a wife, mother, and quiet warrior who lives out the truth of Ezer Kenegdo with humility and grace. She carries a generational anointing to awaken identity in women, not through performance, but through presence and surrender.

Steady, secure, and led by the Spirit, Becky plants seeds of truth wherever she goes. Her prayers break chains, her words stir remembrance, and her life reflects unity, faith, and alignment with God. She carries the torch not to elevate herself, but to pass it on—calling women to rise, remember who they are in Christ, and walk in the authority they were created to carry.

as Becky Henderson
A smiling African American woman with short curly hair, wearing earrings and a necklace, outdoors during sunset.

Marisha is a pastor, wife, and mother who walks in clarity, authority, and deep spiritual identity. Rooted in truth and revelation, she knows who she is in God and carries a quiet yet unmistakable anointing that shifts atmospheres. She embodies the fullness of Ezer Kenegdo—strong, balanced, and aligned with God’s original design.

Marisha carries an impartation to awaken identity in other women. Through discernment, prayer, and truth spoken in love, she calls daughters of God out of exhaustion, shame, and false narratives. Her presence becomes a turning point—reminding women that they were never meant to live small, but to walk in authority, purpose, and partnership with God.

as Marisha Apodaca
A man with reddish-brown hair, a beard, and mustache, wearing a denim shirt, sitting indoors, looking at the camera with a serious expression.

Adam is a devoted husband, loving father, and steady provider. Kind and dependable, he deeply loves his wife and family. Yet, like many men, he has not fully grasped the depth of what God placed in Eve. He sees her as reliable and supportive, but has not yet awakened to the truth that she was created to stand beside him as an Ezer Kenegdo, not merely to help, but to partner with him in purpose. Adam’s journey is one of revelation—learning to honor not just what Eve does, but who she is.

as Adam
A woman with brown hair, white glasses, and a pearl necklace is talking on the phone inside a boutique store. The store has clothing racks, shelves with accessories, and a woman sitting at a table in the background.

Rackel is an elegant, powerful woman nearing 68, the owner of an elite boutique built on status, luxury, and control. Married into a cold, image-driven life, she has formed her identity around success and perfection rather than intimacy or rest. Beneath her polished exterior lies quiet sadness, insecurity, and spiritual distance.

Her pursuit of beauty and prestige has become a substitute for healing, turning her strength into performance rather than purpose. Rackel does not see herself—or others—through God’s eyes, having traded her true identity for worldly validation. Though respected and influential, she remains far from peace, unaware that she too was created as an Ezer Kenegdo, longing not to rule, but to be known and restored.

as Rackel
A woman with long blonde hair, wearing a dark blazer and white top, posing indoors with curtains in the background.

Mrs. Dove is an elegant, sharp-witted executive shaped by unresolved loss. Though confident on the surface, she is inwardly exhausted and disconnected from her family.

Her journey is one of healing, not power. Until she faces the pain she has avoided, Mrs. Dove remains unaware that she too was created as an Ezer Kenegdo—called not to survive behind walls, but to walk in restored purpose and peace.

as Mrs. Dove

Michelle Harris PhD

A woman with long blonde hair, smiling, wearing a cream-colored satin dress and a tan blazer, seated on a bed with a tufted headboard in a warmly lit room.

Bianca is a stylish, confident woman whose life revolves around image, influence, and approval. Her sense of worth is built entirely on how others perceive her, leaving her without a rooted identity or true purpose. Beneath the glamour is a woman driven by fear of being unseen and replaced.

She survives by aligning herself with power, mirroring those she idolizes, and undermining anyone who threatens her place—especially Eve, whose quiet integrity exposes Bianca’s insecurity. Lost in performance and comparison, Bianca has no awareness of who she is in God’s eyes. Until she stops chasing validation, she remains blind to the truth that identity is not earned through attention, but received through calling.

as Bianca
A man wearing a gray suit and patterned shirt sitting indoors with a background of windows and blurred outdoor scenery.

Mr. Nichol’s is a polished, wealthy businessman accustomed to control and admiration. As the owner of an elite men’s boutique, he moves through life with confidence and precision, measuring success by image, status, and possessions. Though respected publicly, his personal life lacks intimacy, warmth, and true connection.

In the story, Mr. Nichol’s represents a world that values appearance over truth. When he encounters Eve, he sees only her position—not her strength—reflecting a society that overlooks worth when it cannot be measured. Quietly powerful yet spiritually empty, his presence highlights the contrast between worldly success and unseen poverty of the soul.

as Mr. Nichol's

Steve Kelly

A young girl with dark brown hair, wearing a white ribbed shirt with ruffled shoulder details and light red/orange pants, sitting on the floor holding a small orange in one hand and a peeled orange segment in the other, with a neutral background.

Camila is the youngest presence in Ezer Kenegdo—a living symbol of innocence, promise, and the future yet to unfold. In her quiet presence, she represents the next generation of daughters who will grow up carrying identity, strength, and purpose rooted in God’s design.

Though she speaks no words, Camila embodies hope. She is a reminder that what is awakened in one generation is passed to the next, and that the restoration of identity today becomes the inheritance of tomorrow.

as Camila

Summer Castillo

Young boy with brown hair and striped shirt reaching out onto a wooden table in a well-lit living room with plants and window view.

Jr. is a young boy in second grade—observant, gentle, and quietly perceptive. Through his eyes, we glimpse the innocence of childhood and the unspoken awareness children carry when love, exhaustion, and strength coexist in the home. Though he doesn’t fully understand the weight his mother carries, he feels it.

Jr. represents the next generation watching and learning. His presence reminds us that when identity is restored in a mother, it shapes the heart, confidence, and future of her children.

as Jr.

Mateo Ceja

A man with a beard, dressed in a black suit and white shirt, looking at his phone in an indoor setting.

Axel appears briefly, almost in passing, but his presence carries depth far beyond the moment. He exists at a crossroads between past service and unspoken burden, between duty fulfilled and questions still unanswered. Where Eve’s journey in this story moves toward clarity and confidence, Axel stands in quiet contrast: reflective, weary, and inwardly searching. As Eve's sibling, they share a history and mutual awareness that God’s hand has been at work in both of their lives, even when paths diverge. In this moment, Axel does not speak. He listens. He receives. And in doing so, he becomes a witness to Eve’s transformation, a reminder that awakening in one life can echo into another. Axel’s role is subtle but intentional: a bridge between seasons, a man carrying weight unseen, and a living thread that suggests some callings unfold in silence long before they are revealed.
